Yes. To set up mPOS terminals and start accepting payments with the app, you’ll need to create a business account to access the NanoKard Platform.

To find the Terminal’s TID:
- Go to your NanoKard Platform.
- In the menu, navigate to your Business Settings to go to the mPOS Terminals page.
- Select the merchant location to view all the added terminals and their assigned Terminal ID.
To log in to the terminal on the NanoKard mPOS App, use the assigned Terminal ID and the password that was created for the terminal.
To reset your Clerk PIN:
- Go to the NanoKard Platform.
- In the menu, navigate to your Business Settings to access the mPOS Clerks page.
- Select the name of the clerk you wish to edit.
- Use the Update PIN button to set a new PIN.
To change the password for a terminal:
- Go to the NanoKard Platform.
- In the menu, navigate to your Business Settings to go to the mPOS Terminals page.
- Select the location of the terminal you’re looking for.
- Select the terminal name you’d like to update the password for.
- Click the Update Password button to follow the prompts to create a new terminal password.
If you want to use an mPOS terminal at a different location, you can change the terminal’s assigned location. To change the mPOS terminal’s originally assigned location:
- Go to the NanoKard Platform.
- In the menu, navigate to your Business Settings to go to the mPOS Terminals page.
- Select the current location of the terminal you’d like to change to a new location.
- Select the terminal you want to move to.
- In the Terminal Location dropdown selection, choose the terminal’s new assigned location.
- Click the Update Terminal button to save your edits.

Customers must always use their NanoKard App to pay via QR code. With their NanoKard App, customers can scan the mPOS QR code and complete their payment from their mobile device.
If they don't already have the NanoKard App and want to pay using a debit or credit card, here’s how you can guide them:
- Download the NanoKard App on any Apple or Android device from nanokard.com/download-app.
- Once the app is downloaded, they should create an account and add a debit or credit card.
- After successfully setting up their account and card, they need to load funds onto their NanoKard balance.
- They can then scan the QR code generated by the mPOS App to complete the sale using the funds from their balance.
