Downloading & logging into the mPOS

Once you have set up an mPOS terminal and added clerks to the NanoKard Platform, you can download the NanoKard mPOS app. This app lets you or your clerks start making sales using the NanoKard mPOS QR code generation feature for payments.

How to download the NanoKard mPOS app

The mPOS app can be downloaded to any Apple or Android device. There are two places you can download the app from:

  1. Download the app from the Apple App Store store, or download the provided Android SDK. Use the following link to download the app: nanokard.com/mpos-download

  2. Download the app from the NanoKard Platform by scanning the QR code displayed on the mPOS Terminal or mPOS Clerk page.

How to log into your mPOS

  1. Find the mPOS app icon on your mobile device after downloading the app. Then, tap the Log in button when prompted.
  2. Enter the Terminal ID (TID) for the terminal you want to access. This Terminal ID was generated in the NanoKard Platform.

    Note: The TID is found on the mPOS Terminals page within the NanoKard Platform.
     

  3. Enter the mPOS password created when adding the terminal to the NanoKard Platform and tap Log in.
    Note: The mPOS password can be reset at any time from the mPOS Terminal page of the NanoKard Platform.
  4. After entering your Terminal ID and password, your terminal login will either provide reasons for being unsuccessful or prompt a successful login. There are two reasons why a login attempt may be unsuccessful:
    a. An incorrect Terminal ID (TID) or password was entered.

    b. The terminal is either inactive or has been deleted in the NanoKard Platform .

  5. Upon successful login, the main mPOS dashboard will be displayed. From here, you can perform the following actions:

    a. Start a new sale: Tap the Start new sale button to initiate the process of completing a transaction.

    b. View today's batch of transactions: Tap the View today's batch button to view all recent transactions and batches.

After completing the steps outlined above, you should be ready to make your first sale!
