Once your terminal is set up and your clerks are logged into the mPOS terminal, you can begin processing sales. With their NanoKard mPOS App, store clerks generate unique QR codes for each transaction. This article guides you through the process of completing sales transactions on the mPOS App.
How to complete a sale
1. To start a sale, go to the main dashboard and press the Start new sale button.
2. Enter your unique four-digit clerk PIN. This action will automatically register the sale under the clerk who entered their PIN.
3. Enter the total sale amount to be charged to the customer and press Generate QR Code. A unique QR code for the transaction will populate for the sale.
4. Instruct the customer to scan the QR code utilizing their NanoKard App.
Note: The sale can be discarded before the customer completes the payment by selecting the "Discard Sale" button. The Clerk will need to confirm by pressing the "Discard" button on the pop-up.
5. When the customer scans the QR code, the mPOS will display a screen indicating that the customer is completing the payment using the NanoKard App on their mobile device.
6. Upon successful completion of the transaction, the Payment received screen will be displayed. If the merchant location allows for tipping, this screen will also confirm the submitted tip. With this confirmation, the transaction is now complete.
After following the steps above, your first sale should be complete. You can now view your daily batch and process a refund.
