Your customers can download the NanoKard Customer App on an Apple or Android device. To download the app from the App Store or the Android app, ‌customers can visit https://www.nanokard.com/download-app.

Note: The Android version of the NanoKard App needs to be downloaded via Andriod Package Kit (APK) file format.

Your customers will be ready to make a transaction in just a few minutes. The entire process, which includes downloading the NanoKard Customer App, creating an account, adding a debit or credit card, and loading funds onto your NanoKard, was designed with efficiency in mind.

Your customers can use all major US credit or debit card providers to load their NanoKard balance.

Here are 3 ways that your clerks can complete a sale with customers using the NanoKard Customer App: 

Generate a QR code using the NanoKard mPOS app.	The customer generates a QR code from their NanoKard app for your clerk to scan.	Provide your merchant QR code at the counter for customers to scan and pay with their NanoKard app.
Add an mPOS terminal and clerks to your NanoKard Platform. Download the NanoKard mPOS app onto a smartphone. Have the clerk log into the mPOS terminal. Press the Make a sale button to input the sale amount and generate a QR code. Present the generated QR code to the customer. The customer will then scan this QR code with their NanoKard Customer App to make the payment. After the customer has completed the payment, the clerk will receive a confirmation on their mPOS app, indicating that the transaction is complete.	Within the NanoKard Customer App, the customer can complete a payment by generating a QR code. Here's what that process will look like:  The customer chooses the option to generate a QR code in their app. The customer will enter the sale amount, add a tip, and then confirm their payment by generating a QR code. The customer will then present the generated QR code payment to the clerk.  The clerk can use their barcode scanner to scan the customer's QR code payment to accept the customer's payment. Note: This method of making a sale can only be done if your POS system has been integrated with your NanoKard account.	To print your merchant QR code: Visit the NanoKard Platform. Select the Accounts tab. Choose Retail QR. Press the QR code button. This action will let you download and print your exclusive merchant QR code. To accept payments using the printed QR code: Exhibit the printed QR code for customers to scan at the checkout. Customers will utilize their NanoKard Customer App to scan the shown merchant QR code and finalize their payment within the app. The clerk can request the customer to show their payment confirmation screen to verify that the transaction is finalized.

If your current Point of Sale (POS) system is integrated with your NanoKard account using the provided API keys, your clerks can accept payments from customers using the NanoKard Customer App with a barcode scanner. This enables your clerks to scan a QR code that is generated on the customer's NanoKard mobile app to finalize a payment through your existing POS system.

Yes, customers can choose to tip from preset options of 10%, 15%, 20%, or enter a custom amount of their choosing. Tip amounts will be recorded on the NanoKard Platform.

Customers must always use their NanoKard Customer App to pay in-person. With the app, customers can scan a generated mPOS QR code and complete their payment from their mobile device. If they don't already have the NanoKard Customer App and want to pay using a debit or credit card, here’s how you can guide them:

1. Download the NanoKard Customer App on any Apple or Android device from https://www.nanokard.com/download-app.
2. Once the app is downloaded, they should create an account and add a debit or credit card as a payment method.
3. After successfully setting up their account and card, they need to load funds onto their NanoKard balance.
4. Once the customer has enough funds, they can then scan the QR code generated by the mPOS app to complete a sale.

Note: Customers should ensure that their NanoKard balance within their NanoKard Customer App is equal to or exceeds the purchase amount. Otherwise, they will be unable to complete their payment until they load their NanoKard balance to have sufficient funds.

Yes, you can track employee sales and tips within your NanoKard Platform. After you've added clerks in your NanoKard Platform, you can use the associated NanoKard mPOS mobile application to track transactions and tips by clerk.

To determine your rates and fees, please contact your NanoKard Account Manager or Agent. They may be able to provide you with a cost-effective solution based on your current rates. They will guide you through the NanoKard rates.

No, customers cannot split payments between their NanoKard Customer App and another payment method, like cash or card. Instead, to add funds and make a complete payment, customers need to add a credit or debit card payment method to their NanoKard Customer App.

On the NanoKard Platform, NanoKard Customer App transactions will be reflected as:

• Transaction Type: "Sales Order Retail"
• Transaction Sub-Type: "QR"

To access your merchant QR code:

1. Go to the NanoKard Platform.
2. Click on the Accounts tab.
3. Select Retail QR.
4. Click on the QR code icon button. This will provide you with the option to download and print your unique merchant QR code.
5. Display the printed QR code for customers to scan at the time of purchase.

Note: This specific QR code does not allow for tracking of sales and tips by clerk. To use this feature, transactions must be completed with the NanoKard mPOS transaction-based QR code payment option.
