How to get started

Apply for a NanoKard merchant account
To get started, go to NanoKard.com and fill out the Get Started form to contact our sales team. A NanoKard sales team member will contact you soon to learn more about your business.

Set up your account
Once your application is approved, an account for your business will be created on the NanoKard platform and a welcome email will be sent to the main contact's email address.
Follow these steps to log into your NanoKard account:
- Click the URL in the Welcome email you received.
- Enter your assigned username and temporary password, and accept NanoKard's Terms of Service agreement.
- Change the temporary password to a new password of your choice.
Note: The NanoKard Merchant Platform runs on any browser, however, we do recommend Google Chrome for the best experience. Administrators should encourage users to update their browsers each time there is an update or patch release to maintain security and PCI compliance.

Common platform functions in NanoKard
Below are some commonly used platform functions found throughout NanoKard that will help you better understand how to use the platform.

| Activity Log | Wherever you see the Activity Log button, you can view activities that took place on the current tab within a date range that you define. Dates range options include: Today, Yesterday, This Week, This Month, and Custom. Selecting Custom will prompt a calendar to open allowing you to select a specified date range. Varying information may be shown in the Activity Log based on the tab you are viewing. Some will show activities performed by an individual, while others may show automated activities. |
| Export |
The Export feature allows you to download CSV reports based off of summary lists of information. Some tabs allow you to select criteria for your download. When this is the case, you can narrow results by date, and select which columns you wish to include in your report. However, there are tabs where filtering criteria is not available and the entire summary list will be Exported. |
| Show Entries | Several summary sections have the option to select the number of line items that appear at a time on the the list. You can select from 25, 50, or 100 line items to be visible at a time. |
| Status | Tabs that contain summary lists of transactions with the Status button can be filtered to show only the results you wish to view. Available Status criteria will vary based on the transaction type being summarized. |
Platform usage and policies

Prohibited Business Types & Banned Ingredients Even though NanoKard processes for many high risk industries, there are still industries and products with ingredients that we cannot process. Please review the NanoKard Prohibited List to ensure compliance.

ACH Policies There is a $100K limit per transaction, but there is no limitation on the number of transactions a merchant can initiate per day as long as the funds are available and not arrears. Agreed to days in arrears can be found on your NanoKard application and in the NanoKard merchant platform in "Fee Structure" under Business Settings.

ACH Processing Timelines Requests for same-day ACH must be submitted by 9 AM PST, Monday to Friday. Requests received after 9 AM PST will be processed as next-day ACH in the following morning's batch.
Note: that ACH payments are not processed on weekends or holidays.
